AT THE IMPACT HUB MADRID
Last Thursday, February 25, 2016, Inclusion [Social Ratings] was invited by Impact Hub Madrid to lead a two-hour session on Social Performance Management. During the session, Richard Wilson, CEO of Inclusion, introduced the firm and its methodology approach towards measuring social performance of social enterprises. In addition, he presented his hands-on experience of developing social performance and impact ratings in different regions, including Africa and Asia.
This session was part of the Social Impact
Lab monthly meetings that gathers social entrepreneurs, social organizations, experts
and practitioners working on social impact.
Members of the Cambodian Microfinance Association gather
in Phnom Penh to discuss Social Performance and to welcome Inclusion [Social Ratings]
I[SR] sponsored a roundtable discussion on November 12, 2015, at the offices of LOLC Microfinance in Phnom Penh. The event was
co-sponsored by the Cambodian Microfinance Association (CMA). 11 MFIs and social
impact investors were represented with over
20 participants in attendance. The two-hour roundtable covered such topics as, "measuring
social performance as a proxy for social impact measurement," "using social performance tools"
and "best practices in social performance".

INCLUSION [AFRICA] ATTENDS 2015 AFRICAN MICROFINANCE WEEK IN DAKAR
Inclusion [Africa] actively participated in the 2015 African Microfinance Week which took place in Dakar the past 29th of June to the 3rd of July. Prior to the Conference, Richard Wilson, our CEO, conducted a two-day workshop sponsored by the Grameen Credit Agricole Microfinance Foundation on "Managing Growth & Social Performance". The workshop was attended by seven MFIs from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Chad. As a result of the workshop, two new MFIs, one in Kenya and one in Uganda, signed up for Social Performance Ratings from Inclusion [Africa]. The Conference was a success, gathering 547 participants
of all Africa.
The participants came from 49 countries – including 36 African countries.

On September 29, 2015, Inclusion [Africa] sponsored a roundtable lunch at the Impact
Hub Kigali, Rwanda. Present at the lunch were
22 attendees representing various social enterprises operating in Kigali.
The discussions were led by Richard Wilson,
CEO Inclusion [Africa]. The two-hour lunch
was deemed a success by Jon Stever, co-founder of the Impact Hub Kigali, and Maria Mayanga, Managing Director Impact Hub Kigali.

I[SR] held a workshop on "Social Performance Management for Social Enterprises". The event, which was well attended by over 20 members
of the Impact Hub Phnom Penh and included established and start-up social enterprises operating in Cambodia, was held on November 11, 2015.
Richard Wilson, I[SR] CEO, and Ana de Miguel,
I[SR] Asian Representative, led the workshops where the concepts and benefits around measuring social performance were discussed.

INCLUSION [SOCIAL RATINGS]
OPENS ASIAN REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE IN CAMBODIA
Richard O. Wilson, Jr., CEO of Inclusion [Social Ratings], announced the opening of its Asian Representative Office in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
"We are very excited about I[SR]'s expansion into Asia. This is a real demonstration of our commitment to making
Inclusion [Social Ratings] into a truly global social rating agency. We will be announcing further international expansion over the coming months."
INCLUSION [AFRICA] BECOMES FULL MEMBER OF SPTF
Inclusion [Africa] ltd. was informed by the Board of the Social Performance Task Force (SPTF) that it has been accepted as a full organizational member of the Social Performance Task Force.
As a full member of the SPTF, Inclusion [Africa] commits to support the mission of the SPTF to engage with microfinance stakeholders to develop, disseminate and promote standards and good practices for social performance management and reporting. We share in the commitment to making best efforts to integrate them into our organization's work, as well as to promote them in relationships with our partners.
The Social Performance Task Force consists of over 2,600 members from all over the world
and every microfinance stakeholder group: practitioners, donors and investors (multilateral, bilateral, and private), global, regional, and national associations and networks, technical assistance providers, rating agencies, academics, regulators, and others.
